Former Leicester City FC star midfielder Muzzy Izzet cuts the tape to officially unveil the new state-of-the-art Clubhouse.  Along with the Mayor of Hinckley & Bosworth and many other invited guests, Muzzy was able to see first-hand the Sports Club in full swing during one of Market Bosworth Football Club's Friday night training sessions.  With over 100 local children present, there were lots of photo opportunities for kids (of all ages!) to pose with Muzzy and to get his autograph.

The new Clubhouse was only made possible thanks to a £370,000 grant from the Football Foundation's Premier League & F.A. Facilities Fund - which provides grants towards the development of new or refurbished grass roots football facilities - and by a £60,000 grant from Sport England (Lottery funded).  These grants, together with smaller funds raised by club volunteers through sponsorship and numerous donations, enabled the Sports Club to build a brand new facility comprising four fully-equipped team changing rooms, two similar officials' changing rooms, a large Clubroom/Function Room and servery, office space, spectator toilets and storage space.
